“How much does it cost to paint a Bedroom” is one of the most searched google phrases in the construction industry. Yet, so many companies require you to call and talk to a salesmen for even the most basic projects. We’re dedicated to help easing the process of your home renovations which is why we’ve provided some average costs for common projects below. Please keep in mind that there are always variances from job to job. Excessive preparation of surfaces in poor condition or scenarios that require unique and specialized coatings may increase pricing significantly. The pricing below should provide a range that your project may fall within, but the only way to solidify a number for your specific project will be via an in-person estimate which can be scheduled here!
Pricing Includes average costs of materials and paint required and reflects a total price.
Pricing is based on an average size bedroom of 12x12 and includes repainting of walls, ceiling, trim, doors, and window casings involving sound surfaces that do not require extensive preparation prior to painting.
Pricing does not include painting specialty items like vanities or built in shelving, both of which would fall under our Cabinet Painting category.
This category can be used to estimate the cost to paint larger size rooms in excess of 300 square feet with taller than average and/or vaulted ceilings
Please note that pricing can vary greatly depending on level of surface preparation required, These are average costs of homes requiring a standard 1-2 days of surface prep And include the average cost of labor and materials to repaint siding, trim, window casings, and door casings.
Homes in this size range are typically not more than 1 level and take 3-4 days for project completion
Homes in this size range vary greatly in amount of levels and architectural layout. This is the most common home size that we work on and are often faced with many variables that can effect pricing. Average jobs of this size take between 4 and 7 working days.
Homes of this size and larger often involve multiple levels and architectural features that may require the use of staging and boom lifts, which can cause a large range of pricing. Homes of this size almost always require an in-person visit to provide accurate pricing.
Cost includes all paint and associated materials
This option applies to 90% of our cabinet painting projects and is for clients with cabinets in moderate to good condition that they would like to restore to a like-new appearance or change the existing color.
Surfaces that are painted include fronts and backs of all doors and drawer fronts, as well as exterior and inner lip of cabinet boxes. Interiors are typically excluded.
*NOTE filling the grain of Oak cabinets is not a service we provide
If the interior of your cabinets are in need of some TLC, we can refinish the interiors as well but it is recommended that they are left empty for 7 days after painting to avoid marring or imprinting the paint before a full cure has been reached.
If you're considering updating the look of your cabinets by replacing the doors, theres often significant savings involved by having your contractor replace them with doors that are unfinished. We are capable of duplicating, and often surpassing, a factory-grade finish at a lower cost than having them pre finished which can also provide you with more color options.
The cost of painting new doors is lower than refinishing due to being able to skip the preparation steps of sanding and degreasing.
